How to Make Steady Affiliate Commissions
Earning steady affiliate commissions is the goal when promoting any affiliate product.
One of the best ways to accomplish this is by creating a niche website. Niche websites focus on one specific niche audience.
They require content (writing blog post articles) and it is this content that eventually gets indexed and ranked by the search engines such as Google.
It wasn’t until I created a niche website that I was finally able to earn affiliate commissions on a regular basis.
I didn’t know how to make money with a blog when I got started. Instead of trying to figure it all out on my own, I chose to search for an online training program and found this one.
Thanks to the training and applying what I learned, I was able to transition out of a full-time retail job into working on my website full-time.
That shows the power of a niche website if you are willing to put in the time and effort of creating and maintaining one.
Picking a Niche
Any niche website begins with choosing a niche. It will depend on the product or products that you plan on promoting.
Let’s take the case of the Nada Manley affiliate program listed above. She offers $250 commissions on her Ageless Mentorship program.
Her niche is styling for women ages 40 and over. Therefore, it would be ideal to focus on this niche as well.
Your niche website could discuss fashion trends for middle-aged women. Within your content you could recommend a stylist and refer people to Nada Manley using your affiliate link.
You want to focus on a niche so that the visitors to your website will be highly interested in the products that you recommend.
Writing Blog Posts
A niche website is ineffective if you are not creating content for your website. If you can spend 2 – 4 hours a week on content, you will be producing a good amount of content.
I recommend 1 – 2 new posts per week. If you can produce more, even better. Every new blog post that I write begins with doing keyword research.
No fancy keyword tools are necessary. Most keyword tools are not accurate with their results.
I do research using Google’s autosuggest feature. The autosuggest shows keyword phrases that uses are typing into the search.
Using this will give you plenty of ideas for new blog posts. I will put in a keyword phrase related to my niche and include words such as “how”, “what”, “when”, “for”, etc.
Boosting Your Affiliate Sales
One of the ways I increase my affiliate sales is by writing product reviews. I then refer readers to my product reviews within my blog post content.
Product reviews convert really well for me. I also refer to these reviews as presell pages.
However, on a presell page, you often write positively about the product. This is easy to do when you have used the product yourself (which I recommend.)
I also recommend adding a call-to-action at the beginning and at the end of your blog posts.
A call-to-action is a line of text that tells the reader what to do next. Such as “click here to learn more” which could link to your review page or affiliate link.
Closing Thoughts
I hope the affiliate programs above offer you some options in terms of high-paying affiliate programs.
Creating a niche website is a great way to start earning steady income from these affiliate programs or any of your choosing.
If you are ready to level up your affiliate earnings, consider following the same step-by-step training program I followed.
