My most recommended method for making money with affiliate programs is by creating a niche blog.
A niche blog is a blog that focuses on one specific topic. Gardening would be the niche.
However, you can sub-niche within this niche as well. I like to choose a sub-niche when I create a new blog.
There is typically less competition versus choosing to focus on a broader niche. Here are some ideas for gardening sub-niches:
- How to grow herbs indoors
- Gardening in a small apartment
- Community gardening
A blog that focuses on a subniche can earn just as much and sometimes more than a blog that covers a general niche.
Choose what would be of more interest to you. More than anything, it’s about enjoying your niche so that you can create content (new blog posts) on a regular basis.
It wasn’t until I started a niche blog that I was able to start earning a consistent income online with affiliate marketing.
I wasn’t sure how to make money with a blog when I started so I searched for an online training program.
